Adding a dynamic tracking number by traffic source
To add a dynamic tracking number, get to the Numbers tab in the topbar, and then click on the + Add New button at the top right.
You will get to a workflow to help you to choose the type of call tracking to set:
Click Next for Dynamic Call Tracking.
Then you get to a second form to choose the type of dynamic call tracking:
Click Next for By Traffic Source.
Then fill in the following information in the next form:
- Number name.This name is unique and cannot be given to another tracking number in your account.
- Number Region (can be at district or national level). The number in parentheses tells how many phone numbers are available in your customer account.
- Select the tracking number you want in the list of available numbers for this area code in your account.
- Redirection number: The number set behind a tracking number to transfer incoming calls. Read more about redirection numbers here.
At this point, you can also set the dynamic insertion criteria by clicking Display in the Dynamic Insertion section:
- Define the traffic source to set for this number;
- Enter the permutation target (the phone number that will be replaced with a tracking number on this traffic source).

Once you filled in this data, click Add the number now to save and activate the tracking number.
If the update is successful, you can see a message that allows you to:
