Integrating HubSpot with your Call Tracking account

By integrating your Call Tracking account with your HubSpot account, you can create directly in HubSpot a new contact for a caller who dialed a tracking number, and update call activities for your existing contacts.

How to activate HubSpot integration in your Call Tracking account

In the Integrations tab, first click on Activate for HubSpot.

Meanwhile, log into HubSpot and then get back in your Call Tracking account, and click on Allow Access.

Then, select the HubSpot account to connect with your Call Tracking account.

Both of your accounts are now connected together! Next, you can configure call activity update and contact creation in HubSpot, after receiving a call on one of your tracking numbers.

In the section Call Creation in HubSpot, select the call owner to be saved in HubSpot. Also select the outcome to be displayed in HubSpot for every missed and every answered call notified in your Call Tracking account.

The options available for each of these fields are taken from your HubSpot account:

  • For the call owner, the available options are the users declared in your HubSpot account.
  • For the call outcomes, the available options are customizable in your HubSpot account.

 

In the section Contact Creation in HubSpot, you can set a new contact to be created automatically in HubSpot if the caller number has not been found in your existing contacts.

If you wish this, select the second option for Contact Creation to display further features.

Then type in the name by default for your new HubSpot phone contacts who called a tracking number. If needed, this name can contain variables to directly display the caller number or the name of the tracking number that was dialed for this call.

Once you have completed the previous steps, last you need to define the tracking numbers whose call data will be sent to HubSpot when a call is received on one of them.

To do this, select the numbers you want to include in the left column of available numbers, and click on Add to move them to the right column of selected numbers.

Same way, to remove a number from the list, just select it and click on Remove to get the number back to the left column.

Then click on Complete the configuration to finalize the integration with HubSpot, and be automatically redirected to the Integrations tab.

Any time after that, you can edit the integration and add or remove tracking numbers from the call data sending process to HubSpot.

How to see call activities in HubSpot

Once the integration is activated, at each new call received on one of your tracking numbers, call activity is saved in your HubSpot Contacts tab.

You just have to click on a contact’s name to display call details for this contact.
