In this article, we explain how to visualize call events in your reports, visualize your reports each time a call is made on one or several specific tracking numbers.
You can find the article about creating conversions in Google Analytics 4 in the article Integrating Google Analytics 4 with your Call Tracking account.
In summary of the article :
Displaying events
According to the Google Analytics 4 definition, an event represents an interaction with content that can be measured independently of the visit or display of a web page. This is the case for downloads, link clicks, and of course calls.
To view your events in Google Analytics 4, go to the Reports section and click on Engagement, then Events. Each call received on a tracking number sends an event to Google Analytics 4 with the name you set up when creating the event (see Integrating Google Analytics 4 with your Call Tracking account).
It is also possible to view the calls received in “real time”.
To do this, you can go to the Report tab and then Real Time.
You can then see the calls received in real time.
Viewing the completion of the conversion
You can now view incoming phone calls as the completion of this conversion, as well as seeing them as events.
To do this, go to the Reports section, then Engagement and Conversion. To view only the data related to your conversion, you can search in the field provided just above the table.
