About Google update for Google Analytics 4 (GA4):

After the recent beta release of Google Analytics 4, new properties are now created by default as GA4 properties in Google Analytics. Besides, Google still supports the current main version, Universal Analytics (UA). In the GA4 beta version, event management is not finalized yet. For this reason, in this article posted on October 14, 2020, Google recommends to keep using Universal Analytics properties in addition to GA4 properties.

Dexem Call Tracking currently supports only Universal Analytics (UA), and we are working to make our integration compatible with GA4, which is also evolving constantly as a beta. If you have any question about this topic, please contact us.

Here is how you can create a Universal Analytics (UA) and a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property in Google Analytics. In the Admin tab, click on the Create Property button in the Property column. Then show the advanced options, activate the option Create a Universal Analytics property, and type in your website URL. Below the URL field, another option allows you to create both a Google Analytics 4 and a Universal Analytics properties.
