Configure the DataLayers collect from your Website
DataLayers enable the collection of additional data regarding your website visitors’ sessions. This information is primarily used to enrich Google Analytics reports but can also be utilized for implementing A/B testing solutions.
Dexem’s Call Tracking allows for the retrieval and processing of these variables to enhance call events with supplementary web session data.
Activating DataLayer Variable collect
Before activating and configuring the DataLayer collect feature, you need to declare web session variables that will serve as containers for the data collected from your website.
Navigate to the “Integrations” tab.
Click on the “Website” card.
Hover over the “…” button and select “Web Session Variables.”
Click “Add New” to add a new variable.
Configure a name for your variable.
Optionally, add a description and a default value.
Click “Create” to save the variable.
